FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  Heading into her third season, Methodist University softball head coach Alexis Wickham Allaman releases the team's 2025 schedule. More than half of this 38-game campaign will be played at Price Field, as the Monarchs have 22 home games.
 
Methodist's first eight contests are all at home, beginning with the season opener against Randolph College on Sunday, February 16, at 1 and 3 PM. The next day, Monday, February 17, Messiah University treks down from Pennsylvania to Fayetteville for a doubleheader at 3 and 5 PM.
 
The following weekend features a pair of Virginia schools crossing state lines into North Carolina. First, Averett University plays the Monarchs on Saturday, February 22, at 1 and 3 PM, then, Sweet Briar College will face Methodist at those same times on Sunday, February 23.
 
The Monarchs go on the road for the first time when the calendar flips to a new month as the team travels to Ferrum College for a doubleheader (1 & 3 PM) on Saturday, March 1. Before returning to campus, Methodist will make a pit stop at Guilford College on Sunday, March 2, for two games starting at 12 and 2 PM.
 
From March 8–9, the Monarchs will compete in the annual Triangle Collegiate Softball Classic, played at the Walnut Creek Softball Complex. Methodist is scheduled to play four different teams throughout the two days: New York University (2:30 PM) and Shenandoah University (5 PM) on Saturday followed by Piedmont University (12 PM) and Christopher Newport University (2:30 PM) on Sunday.
 
The Monarchs then play for a third consecutive day on Monday, March 10, but in front of their home crowd, as Methodist hosts the University of Mary Washington at 1 and 3 PM. On Saturday, March 15, the Monarchs will welcome their last non-conference opponent of the season, the University of Lynchburg, to Price Field for a 1 and 3 PM doubleheader.
 
USA South Athletic Conference action begins on Saturday, March 22, with Methodist visiting Mary Baldwin University for two games at 1 and 3 PM. A week later, on Saturday, March 29, the Monarchs venture out to Brevard College for another pair of USA South games at 1 and 3 PM.
 
Meredith College travels to Methodist on Tuesday, April 1, for a doubleheader at 2 and 4 PM before the Monarchs host two more league opponents that weekend. On Saturday, April 5, Greensboro College is the first team to face Methodist at 1 and 3 PM, followed by William Peace University on Sunday, April 6, at 1 and 3 PM.
 
The Monarchs conclude an eight-game homestand on Saturday, April 12, with a pair of contests against Southern Virginia University at 1 and 3 PM.
 
A week will go by before Methodist plays its next games on Saturday, April 19, as the team travels to Pfeiffer University –– the defending USA South champions –– for a doubleheader at 1 and 3 PM.
 
The last week of the regular season will see the Monarchs host North Carolina Wesleyan University on Tuesday, April 22, at 2 and 4 PM before Methodist visits Salem College on Saturday, April 26, in the regular season finale at 12 and 2 PM.
 
The 2025 USA South Softball Tournament will be played back-to-back weekends. The first round consists of two four-team double elimination brackets, hosted by the top-two seeded teams of the tournament, from Thursday to Saturday, May 1–3. The two remaining teams then advance to the Best-of-Three Championship Series beginning on Friday, May 9, with the highest remaining seeded team hosting the event.
