LIGONIER, Pa. Climbing up the leaderboard during the final round of The Tartan Invitational, the Methodist men's golf team managed a T8 finish after posting a team score of +9 on Tuesday. The Monarchs had the fourth–best third–round score out of all teams in the field.

FINAL ROUND
- Methodist was led by Haden Ruby, who moved up 10 spots in the final round to capture a fourth–place tie for the tournament at four strokes over par. His third–round score of –1 was highlighted by an eagle on the par–five hole 6.
- Beau Brewer put together his best round, carding just four birdies and canceling out three with birdies (all on par–5 holes) to finish the day at +1. His three–round total of +14 was second best on the team.
- Also with three birdies on the round, Jonny Lewis shot three strokes over par on Tuesday to finish the tournament at +16.
- Aiden McCall also made three birdies while shooting his best round at +6. He had a difficult start to the day with a double bogey and a bogey on his first two holes but responded well with birdies on the next two. He ended the tournament with a three–round score of +23.
- Despite his Tuesday score of +7, Jack Haeflinger still finished as Methodist's third–best golfer for the tournament at +15. He birdied just Hole 18 on Tuesday — his third hole of the round.
Methodist's T8 placement excludes the Carnegie–Mellon 'B' team, which finished three strokes better and one place higher than the Monarchs on the team leaderboard.

The Monarchs will compete at one final event this fall, participating in the O'Briant–Jensen Memorial in Greensboro, North Carolina on Oct. 27 and 28.
