ROME, Ga. The Methodist women's golf "B" team finished its final round of the Chick-fil-A Invitational on Tuesday, ending the event in 12th place out of 14 schools.

THE ROUND UP
- Senior Liz Franchetti led the Monarchs in both rounds, shooting 12 strokes over par on day one and an improved six strokes over par on the second day. Her Tuesday round featured a clean back nine as she made par on the first eight holes before making a birdie on hole 18. She captured 27th place out of 86 individuals with a score of +18.
- As one of two freshmen competing for Methodist, Jaycie Kate Lowery was the team's next-best finisher both days, shooting +13 on Monday and +11 on Tuesday. She met par on nine holes during her second round, finishing the event with a two–round score of +24.
- After facing challenges in round one, Kiley Donovan improved her game by six strokes during the second round, scoring +12 on Tuesday. She met par on eight holes during the round, including her first and last hole of the day. Her two–day score was +30.
- Rouyun Lim also saw improvement from round one to round two, taking three strokes off her game as she made par eight times on Tuesday. She finished with the team's third–best score for the tournament at +29.
- Julia Hashem was impacted by one difficult hole each day that weighed her score down, resulting in a two–round score of +35. On the other hand, the freshman was the only Monarch aside from Franchetti to record a birdie during both rounds as she birdied the par-5 hole 5 on Monday and the par-4 hole 13 on Tuesday.
Methodist's 12th place finish excludes the Oglethorpe 'B' team, since Oglethorpe also fielded a varsity team in the event.
