MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. Several Monarchs accomplished personal best times during the first two days of the Shamrock Invitational on Thursday and Friday. The Methodist track & field teams will conclude the meet with a final round of events on Saturday.

TOP MEN'S PERFORMERS SO FAR
- E'Manuel Herbert recorded a new personal best in the hammer throw with a toss of 32.96m.
- In the 110m hurdles, Micah McCorvey set a new PR with a time of 16.13, earning 11th place out of 23 individuals.
- Richard Schieferstein hit a new personal best in the 400m race, crossing the finish in 53.80 seconds.
- Competing in the decathlon, Komla Akogo achieved personal bests in four events, including the 110m hurdles (18.05), the 1500m (5:24.09), the discus (25.26m) and the javelin throw (38.33m).
TOP WOMEN'S PERFORMERS SO FAR
- Caidyn Barriger saw a new personal best in the hammer throw, with a toss that traveled 19.88m.
- Alexandria Wilborn set a new PR in the 400m race, completing the event with a time of 1:08.77.
- Rebecca McGaughnea and Jordan Pecorella both hit PRs in the hammer throw, with McGaughnea's throw traveling 36.97m while Pecorella's went 33.47m.
