ROME, Ga.  Four Methodist student–athletes were named USA South Athletes of the Week on Monday, garnering honors in baseball, women's lacrosse, women's tennis and men's outdoor track and field.

Earning his first Baseball Pitcher of the Week title, Jackson Kuhn had a solid outing on Sunday at North Carolina Wesleyan University. The junior pitched four relief innings and was credited with the win after compiling five strikeouts. He conceded just one hit and issued no walks, allowing zero runs to score.

Repeating once again as the Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, Kennedy Martin stuffed the stat sheet in two games last week. In the win over William Peace University, the senior recorded five caused turnovers, four ground balls and three draw controls. Against Piedmont University, she caused four turnovers while logging four ground balls and six draw controls. Adding to her defensive dominance, Martin also tallied five goals and two assists on the week.

Emma Hulicki reclaims the title of Women's Tennis Player of the Week after earning a win in both the singles and doubles rounds against Brevard College. In the No. 1 singles match, she defeated the top Brevard opponent with sets of 7–6 (7–3) and 6–4. In the No. 2 doubles pairing, she teamed up with Annabelle Subirats for a narrow 7–6 (7–2) victory.

After taking first place out of 20 individuals in the triple jump at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic on Saturday, Jeremiah Freeman was named the Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week. His jump of 13.91 meters was a personal record and exceeded the second–place mark by .11 meters. Freeman's leap ranks inside the top 40 out of all men's triple jump marks in Division III this season.
