CONCORD, N.C. Competing in the conference outdoor championships, the Methodist track & field teams fought hard on Friday, earning a total of 44 points (25 on the men's side and 19 on the women's side) while challenging opponents from around the league.

TOP MEN'S PERFORMERS
- Logan Wade and Tydrick Stewart recorded a 1–2 finish in the 100m prelims, with Wade posting a personal–record time of 10.65 seconds. A'Jani Mainer took seventh, qualifying for Saturday's 100m final. In the 200m prelims, Wade and Stewart have qualified for the final after taking third and fourth place.
- Micah McCorvey and Johnathan Bordeaux both qualified for the 110m hurdles final, recording personal–best times of 15.87 and 16.80 seconds respectively in the prelims.
- Richard Schieferstein qualified for Saturday's 400m final with an eighth–place finish in the prelims, recording a time of 52.49 seconds. In the 400m hurdles, McCorvey took sixth, while Komla Akogo and Vondre Nelson also qualified with third and fifth–place finishes. Akogo's time of 59.24 was a personal record, while McCorvey's time of 1:02.13 was also a career best.
- Throwing for 45.91m in the javelin throw, Joseph Butler captured second place and all–conference second–team distinction. He also claimed fifth in the pole vault, scoring a total of 10 points between the two events.
- Methodist saw three jumpers score in the long jump, with Ke Edwards leading the way with a second–place leap of 6.90m. Jeremiah Freeman's third–place jump of 6.85m set a new personal record, while Lavon Aiken (6.44m) took sixth. Edwards earned all–conference second–team honors, while Freeman earned third–team status.
TOP WOMEN'S PERFORMERS
- With a personal–best time of 13.01 seconds, Erykalyn Neal claimed seventh in the 100m prelims, earning a spot in Saturday's 100m final. In the 200m prelims, Treazure Rosario Watson finished third with a personal–record time of 25.18 seconds, while Neal qualified for the final with an eighth–place finish.
- Rosario Watson crossed the finish line second in the 400m prelims with a personal–best time of 57.84 seconds, while Alexandria Wilborn also qualified for the final with a time of 1:03.93 and a seventh–place finish.
- Taking the top spot in the long jump and earning all–conference first–team laurels, Rosario Watson set a personal record with a jump of 5.65m. Kayleen Grullon was the next best jumper for Methodist, recording a personal record of 4.73m and taking sixth place.
- Katena Morrison captured a third–place finish in the 100m hurdles prelims, qualifying for the final with a time of 16.68 seconds.
- Rebecca McGaughnea claimed all–conference status with a third–place mark in the hammer throw, tossing a distance of 37.00m. Jordan Pecorella's throw of 34.72m proved to be enough to take sixth place and score one point for the Monarchs.
- In the javelin throw, Caidyn Barriger achieved a personal–best mark and scored for Methodist with a sixth–place throw of 23.62m.
