FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Six teams represented Methodist in athletic competition on Saturday, including four teams contending in USA South Athletic Conference postseason events.
In women's lacrosse, the third–seeded Monarchs hosted sixth–seeded Greensboro College for a USA South Tournament First Round matchup. Methodist blew past the Pride, claiming a 24–1 victory.
Mikayla Ramos paced the team offensively with eight points on four goals and four assists, while
Kaitlyn Coleman and
Layla Wiesenfeld were the team leaders in goals scored with five each.
Kennedy Martin led the team defensively with six ground balls, three caused turnovers and seven draw controls.

Also competing in the First Round of their USA South Tournament, the Methodist men's lacrosse team captured a 20–7 win over William Peace University.
Jacob Burnette's career–high eight points (four goals and four assists) led the team, while
RJ Breeden's career–high six goals were also a team high.

Playing the final regular–season USA South game of the season, the Methodist baseball team earned a 16–8 win over Southern Virginia, clinching the title of USA South Regular Season Champions.
Justin Blunt and
Brandon Mauger each contributed a team–high three hits, and
Ethan Golemo led the squad with three RBIs while filling in as the starting third baseman.

Competing at the second day of the USA South Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the Methodist men's track & field team captured a third–place finish out of six teams, while the women's track & field squad took fourth place out of seven schools. Methodist student–athletes earned All–Conference honors in 14 events on Saturday.
RESULTS
Playing a regular–season doubleheader at Salem College, the Methodist softball team earned one win on Saturday, claiming a 6–0 victory in the first game of the afternoon. Striking out nine batters (one shy of her career high),
Kiersten Margoupis earned the complete–game win and conceded just five hits to the Spirits.
Alyssa Rivas batted 4–for–4 in the win and hit a homerun in both contests. The Monarchs dropped the second game of the day by just one run, falling 7–6 in eight innings.

Taking on North Carolina Wesleyan University in the USA South Tournament Championship match, the Methodist men's tennis team was defeated 4–0. The team's season comes to an end after making the title match for the first time since 2019.
