GILBERT, Ariz.  The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced its 2025 Scholar–Athletes, recognizing five Methodist student-athletes on the Division III women's tennis list. This year's honorees were Annabelle Subirats, Caitlin Tihanovich, Emma Hulicki, Katie Sechrist and Madelyn Parker. Additionally, the Methodist women's tennis team was honored as one of the ITA's All–Academic Teams.
 
To be recognized as a Scholar–Athlete, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.50 or greater during the 2024–2025 academic year. To be named an All–Academic Team, teams must have produced a team GPA of 3.2 or better.
 
In total, 1,269 Division III women's tennis athletes were named ITA Scholar–Athletes, while 165 teams garnered the All–Academic Team distinction.
 
For all five Methodist student–athletes, it's their first time earning the individual honor. Subirats, Tihanovich, Hulicki and Sechrist were also named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All–District team in May.

The Monarchs finished the 2025 season with an 8-9 record overall, a 4-3 mark against conference opponents during the regular season, and a trip to the semifinal round of the conference tournament. Hulicki earned USA South Athletic Conference First–Team honors, while Subirats was named to the All–Conference Second Team.
