FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  The Methodist women's lacrosse program released its 2026 schedule, setting the stage for a 17-game season that combines non-conference challenges with a competitive run through USA South play.
 
The Monarchs will open the season on the road in the state of Virginia. Methodist begins the campaign at the University of Lynchburg on Saturday, February 7, before traveling to face Eastern Mennonite University one week later on Saturday, February 14. Both contests are scheduled for Noon starts.

Methodist returns to Fayetteville for its home opener on Sunday, February 22, hosting Virginia Wesleyan University at 2 PM inside Monarch Stadium. The Monarchs then head back on the road for a midweek matchup at Guilford College on Wednesday, February 25, with first draw set for 6 PM.

The month of February concludes with another home contest, as Methodist welcomes Oglethorpe University on Saturday, February 28, for a Noon start. The Monarchs remain at home to open March, hosting Bridgewater College on Thursday, March 5, at 5 PM.

Conference play begins on Saturday, March 7, when Methodist travels to Greensboro College for a 1 PM USA South opener. Following a quick return home to face King's College in non-conference action on Tuesday, March 10, at 2 PM, the Monarchs head to Alabama to take on USA South foe Huntingdon College on Saturday, March 14, with a Noon (EST) start.

Methodist returns to Monarch Stadium on Wednesday, March 18, to host Illinois Wesleyan University in its final non-conference game of the regular season at 6 PM. The Monarchs then resume USA South play at home on Saturday, March 21, welcoming Southern Virginia University for a Noon matchup that will also serve as Senior Day.
 
A road trip to Cary follows on Tuesday, March 24, as Methodist visits William Peace University. One week later, the Monarchs return home to host defending USA South champion Meredith College under the lights on Tuesday, March 31, with a 6 PM start.
 
April opens with a road contest at Pfeiffer University on Saturday, April 3, at 2 PM. Methodist then plays back-to-back home games against North Carolina Wesleyan University on Wednesday, April 7, at 6 PM, and Piedmont University on Saturday, April 11, at Noon. The regular-season schedule concludes on the road at Brevard College on Saturday, April 18, with an 11 AM first draw.
 
The postseason gets underway with the USA South Women's Lacrosse Tournament, starting with first-round action on Saturday, April 25. Semifinals are scheduled for Thursday, April 30, followed by the championship game on Saturday, May 2.
