MISENHEIMER, N.C. The Methodist men's soccer team wrapped up its two-game road swing Saturday afternoon, visiting Pfeiffer University for a USA South matchup. Despite playing with a man advantage for most of the contest, the Monarchs were unable to find the back of the net, falling 2–0 to the Falcons at Lefko-Mills Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sophomore Gerard Bradley applied early pressure for Methodist, recording a shot just two minutes into the match.
- The contest became increasingly physical, resulting in two cards for Pfeiffer, including a red card in the 27th minute that left the Falcons with 10 players for the remainder of the match.
- Despite being down a man, Pfeiffer struck first in the 32nd minute. Alex Michael played a pass forward to Aiden Dualan, who chipped the ball over the Methodist goalkeeper and into the left side of the net to give the Falcons a 1–0 lead.
- The Monarchs outshot Pfeiffer 8–2 in the first half but struggled to generate opportunities after the break, managing just four shots in the second half as the Falcons defended their advantage.
- Pfeiffer added an insurance goal in the 68th minute when Drew Garro received a pass from Barrett Owens and finished to extend the lead to 2–0.
- Methodist was unable to find a response in the closing minutes as Pfeiffer secured the shutout victory.
