The Methodist men's tennis team earned a pair of non-conference victories on Tuesday, defeating McDaniel College and Albright College during its spring break trip. The Monarchs opened the day with a 7–0 sweep of the Green Terror at the Warfield Tennis Courts before finishing with a 5–0 win over the Lions in a darkness-shortened match at the Albright College Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED vs. McDANIEL
- Methodist was nearly flawless in doubles play, dropping just one game across all three courts. The No. 2 pair of Brady Catrow and Caio Lira and the No. 3 tandem of James Giles and Kaiden Harvey each won their matches by identical 6–0 scores. The veteran duo of Cameron Roth and Christian Tihanovich completed the sweep with a 6–1 victory at the top position.
- Roth carried that momentum into singles play, becoming the first Monarch to finish with a dominant 6–0, 6–0 win over Justin Edwards at No. 3. At No. 5 singles, Catrow earned his first collegiate victory, defeating Nick Ferraro 6–0, 6–2.
- Harvey clinched the overall match for Methodist with a 6–2, 6–0 win against Briar Parsons at the No. 6 position. James Giles followed with a 6–1, 6–1 victory over Sylvan Eichenlaub at No. 4 singles.
- At the No. 2 spot, Caio Lira defeated Connor Neal 6–2, 6–1. Shea McCarthy wrapped up the sweep at the top flight with a 7–6, 6–1 victory against Jake Kegley.
HOW IT HAPPENED vs. ALBRIGHT
- Methodist once again grabbed the early advantage by claiming the doubles point. At No. 1 doubles, Harry Crokam and Aaron Zoubek secured a 6–4 victory. The Monarchs clinched the point at No. 2 doubles, where Matthew Hurley and Decklan Rayner won 6–3.
- Albright's lone doubles win came at the No. 3 spot, where Billy Johnson and Andrew Waddill fell in a 7–6 (7–3) decision.
- In singles play, Matthew Hurley extended the Monarch lead with a 6–3, 6–4 victory over Renato Orsi at the top position. At No. 2 singles, Harry Crokam followed with a 6–2, 6–4 win against Karim Fattal.
- Aaron Zoubek added another point at the No. 3 spot, defeating Enrico Pucci 6–4, 6–0. Andrew Waddill sealed the Monarch victory with a 6–1, 6–3 win over Adam Good at the No. 6 position.
- Two matches went unfinished due to darkness. Decklan Rayner had taken the first set 6–3 and trailed 5–6 in the second at No. 4 singles, while Billy Johnson split his first two sets (2–6, 6–3) at the No. 5 spot before the super tiebreaker could begin.
