Methodist Concludes Play at Jekyll Island

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.  The Methodist women's golf team played the final 18 holes of the 2026 Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational on Sunday. The Monarchs shot +44 on the round, dropping to 21st on the team leaderboard.

FINAL ROUND
  • Cloe Rich returned as Methodist's top finisher on Sunday after a rough outing on Saturday. The sophomore was four strokes over par on the front nine with one birdie, and five strokes over par on the back nine.
  • Jenna Rutledge produced her best round of the three days with a +10 on Sunday, carding birdies on holes 3 (par 3) and 15 (par 4).
  • Megan Kestner made par 10 times during the final round, but four double bogeys factored into her 12-over-par total.
  • Anna Wicklum made par or better one eight holes with a birdie on hole 11. She ended the day at +13.
  • Kiley Donovan birdied hole 18 on a day in which she finished with the highest total on the team at +15.
UP NEXT
Methodist will compete at the Stith Invitational hosted by Randolph-Macon College On March 30 and 31 at the Dominion Club in Glen Allen, Virginia.
