GLEN ALLEN, Va. Participating in a final event before the conference championship, the Methodist women's golf team teed off at the Dominion Club in Virgina on Monday for the first two rounds of a three-round tournament. Through 36 holes, the Monarchs rank 11th on the team leaderboard at +68 (just behind Piedmont University at +66).

FIRST TWO ROUNDS
- After shooting 10-over par in the first round, Jenna Rutledge had the best second round out of any Monarch, recording five strokes over par to make her two-round total +15. She had a birdie on hole 18 in the first round and another on hole 4 in the second round, both of which were par 5 holes.
- Cloe Rich had the best opening round for Methodist, logging birdies on holes 12 and 17 to help lift her score to seven-over par. She recorded a team-best three birdies in the second round but shot nine strokes over par, making her total +16.
- Second best in both rounds, Kiley Donovan finished the day at +17. Donovan made par or better 11 times in round one and nine times in round two, including a birdie on hole 17.
- Anna Wicklum shot 10 strokes over par in each round. She made par or better a total of 10 times during the first round and 11 in the second.
- Liz Franchetti rounded out the squad on Monday, ending the day at +34. She shot 18-over in round 1, then 16-over across the final 18 holes.
