Methodist Takes 10th at Stith Invitational

GLEN ALLEN, Va.  The Methodist women's golf team moved up one spot on the leaderboard at the conclusion of the Stith Invitational on Tuesday, finishing in 10th place. The Monarchs tied their second-round score of +32 to finish the three-round tournament at +100.

FINAL ROUND
  • Cloe Rich recorded her best round of the event by shooting just four strokes over par. She carded a team-best three birdies on the day, finishing in 30th place at +20.
  • Jenna Rutledge was the next best Monarch on Tuesday, finishing six strokes over par. She made par on her first seven holes and finished the round making par on a total of 13 holes.
  • Kiley Donovan shot 10-over par, meeting par 11 times on the round, while Anna Wicklum made par seven times during her 12-over-par round. Liz Franchetti had the highest score for the Methodist squad at +20 on the round.

The Monarchs will prepare to compete in the USA South Women's Golf Championship, which will take place from April 20–22 at the Carolina Trace Country Club in Sanford, North Carolina.
