WILLIAMSBURG, Va. The No. 3-ranked Methodist men's golf team concluded play at the Sam Snead Collegiate on Tuesday, finishing second overall with a three-round total of 862 (+10). The Monarchs posted a two-over 286 in the final round at Golden Horseshoe Golf Club.

FINAL ROUND
- Senior Beau Brewer delivered Methodist's top finish, tying for third place with a three-round total of 212 (-1). Brewer saved his best performance for the final round, carding a two-under 69 that included five birdies to move up two spots on the leaderboard.
- Senior Haden Ruby finished tied for eighth with a tournament score of 217 (+4). Ruby was steady through much of the round at even par with three birdies before encountering a few challenging holes late, ultimately posting a five-over 76.
- Junior Todd Moyer also recorded his best round of the tournament on Tuesday, firing a one-under 70 to jump 11 spots into a tie for 10th at 218 (+5). Moyer opened his round with an eagle and added two birdies along the way.
- Senior Jonny Lewis finished tied for 21st with a three-round total of 221 (+8) after carding a six-over 77 in the final round.
- Sophomore William Plageman posted his best round of the tournament as well, shooting even-par 71 with three birdies. Plageman made the biggest climb on the Methodist squad, moving up 19 spots to finish tied for 36th with a total of 224 (+11).
