BREVARD, N.C. The Methodist women's lacrosse team closed out its regular season in commanding fashion Saturday morning, rolling to a 22–1 victory over USA South opponent Brevard College on the road at Ives-Lemel Family Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Methodist set the tone early, erupting for 10 goals in the opening quarter to seize full control of the contest. Senior Layla Wiesenfeld led the charge with five goals in the period, while sophomore Rylie Sturgill added two of her own.
- With the running clock in effect for the remainder of the game, the Monarchs continued to add to their lead with four goals in each of the final three quarters. Freshman Alana Rabon netted two goals in both the second and third quarters, while Sturgill capped her performance with two more goals in the fourth.
- Brevard avoided the shutout with a late goal in the final minutes, but Methodist maintained control throughout to secure the 22–1 win.
