Crokam, Hurley Earn First Team All-USA South Honors

ROME, Ga.  Back on Wednesday, April 22, the USA South Athletic Conference announced its 2026 Men's Tennis All-Conference award recipients, with Methodist University standouts Harry Crokam and Matthew Hurley earning First Team All-Conference honors. Additionally, freshman Shea McCarthy was selected to the conference's All-Sportsmanship Team.

Crokam, a junior from Marcus Beach, Queensland, Australia, earned First Team All-Conference recognition for the first time in his collegiate career after being named to the Second Team in each of the previous two seasons. He posted a 13–11 overall singles record, including a 12–5 mark in dual matches while primarily competing at the No. 2 position. Against USA South opponents, Crokam compiled a 3–1 record.
 
In doubles play, Crokam recorded an impressive 18–8 overall mark, including a 15–3 record in dual matches between the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. He also went 4–1 against conference competition.
 
Hurley, a senior from Faulconbridge, New South Wales, Australia, capped off an outstanding collegiate career by earning his fourth consecutive First Team All-Conference selection, becoming the first Monarch to accomplish the feat since Chris Fletcher from 2005–08.
 
Hurley finished the season with a team-best 21–7 overall singles record, including a 14–4 mark in dual matches at the No. 1 position. Against conference opponents, he posted a 4–1 record. He also excelled in doubles competition, tallying 21 victories with a 21–9 overall doubles record, including a 14–4 mark in dual matches between the No. 1 and No. 2 spots.
