WESTMINSTER, Md. Methodist men's soccer concluded its three-game road trip on Sunday afternoon with a non-conference contest at McDaniel College. Despite generating several quality scoring opportunities in the second half, the Monarchs were unable to find the back of the net as the match ended in a 0–0 draw at the Soccer Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- As they have throughout the young season, the Monarchs looked to establish themselves early. Methodist recorded two shots during the opening seven minutes, including a shot on goal by junior Brogan Murphy.
- A few minutes later, the Monarchs generated three more shots in a 40-second span. Murphy nearly opened the scoring when his attempt struck the crossbar and stayed out of the net.
- McDaniel settled in as the half progressed, with the Green Terror limiting Methodist to just two shots over the final 35 minutes of the opening half.
- Following the break, both teams struggled to maintain possession in the attacking third during the opening 16 minutes of the second half.
- Methodist eventually found its rhythm and created several quality scoring opportunities, but the Monarchs could not capitalize as the match remained scoreless through the final whistle.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Murphy, a defender, paced the Methodist attack with a game-high four shots, including two on goal. Cameron Lambert and Josh Mott followed with three shots apiece.
- Senior goalkeeper Trey Gohr recorded his first shutout of the season and the 15th of his collegiate career. The clean sheet moved him into fourth place all-time in Methodist history for career shutouts.
