CLARKSVILLE, Ga. - The junior varsity women's golf team traveled back to Georgia on Tuesday to compete in the Orchard Invitational hosted by Piedmont College. The Monarchs finished second at 335, just four strokes behind the tournament winner, Tennessee Wesleyan.
Sophomore
Emily Jackson and freshman
Kelsey Magnine tied for second with a 79. Freshman
Holly Shupe shot an 88 and freshman
Andrea Daly shot an 89 competing in her first collegiate tournament. Freshman
Kaitlyn Sharpless finished with a 90. Sophomore
Jacquie Ponder and freshman
Ashley Evanich competed as individuals and finished with a 94 and 105 respectively.
Methodist will host Piedmont in a dual match Sept. 27.
