FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The USA South Athletic Conference has named Methodist's Isabella Graf the Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week for the week ending Mar. 10.
 
Graf helped lead the Monarchs to a 2-0 week last week as MU knocked off Mary Baldwin, 9-0, before defeating Averett, 8-1, with both matches being played on Sunday afternoon. Graf teamed with Hillary Petruska to post a 2-0 record in doubles and she also earned straight-sets win in her only singles match of the week.
 
Against Mary Baldwin, Graf and Petruska played at No. 1 doubles and notched an 8-1 win over McKayla Burnett and Kary Kelly. In the Averett match, Graf and Petruska played at No. 2 doubles and emerged with an 8-0 win over Katelyn Powell and Jewel Dale.
 
Graf's lone singles action of the week was 6-0, 6-0 sweep of Katelyn Powell at No. 3.
 
The Monarchs are in action three times this week down in Hilton Head, S.C. as part of their spring break trip.
