NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The Methodist men's tennis team came up short in a 5-4 loss at Christopher Newport on Sunday afternoon.
The Captains took a 2-1 lead after doubles then withstood an MU rally as four of the six singles matches went into three sets.
The Monarchs, the No. 3 seed in the upcoming USA South Tournament, will take on No. 6 Ferrum on Friday at 9:00 am at N.C. Wesleyan.
