LYNCHBURG, Va. -- The Methodist men's tennis team won its match, 8-1, over Southern Virginia on Saturday in an event held at E. C. Glass High School.
MU (2-0) swept all three doubles matches, and only dropped only one match in singles play. The Monarchs'
Max Mancini outlasted the Knights' (0-1) Pradeep Ravisankar, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, to capture the No. 1 singles match while Methodist breezed through singles matches No. 3 through 6.
The Monarchs will return to the courts on Friday at the ITA Regional Championships held in Sewanee, Tenn.
