FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Methodist men's tennis defeated Piedmont by a 9-0 margin on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Monarchs (8-5) did not drop a single set all day long against the visiting Lions (2-2), including Duncan Miller's 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles. Taylor Buccholz and Miller teamed up to win at No. 1 doubles, 8-2.
 
Methodist will play next on Tuesday against N.C. Wesleyan. The action is scheduled to start at 4:00 pm at the Monarch Courts.
