FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Methodist's men's tennis team bested Chowan, 8-1, on Saturday at the Hawks Tennis Complex.
 
MU swept all three doubles matches, while only dropping one singles match. Teal Howard won both his singles competition over Carlos Ramirez, 6-1, 6-2, as well as his doubles match partnered with Jacob Groce, 8-1 over Ramirez and Danilo Galovic. Groce was also victorious in his singles match, besting Galovic 6-4, 6-1.
 
Methodist returns to the court for the ITA Regional Championships in Atlanta, Ga. this Friday.
