ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Methodist's men's tennis team suffered its fourth loss of the season on Friday, falling, 9-0, to 19th ranked Aquinas. The Monarchs are now 4-4 while the Saints move to 14-3 overall.

Ahead 3-0 after doubles play, the Saints quickly picked up three more straight-set wins in singles, including Daymon Johnson's 6-0, 6-3 over
Kyle Mersereau win at No. 2 to clinch the match. RJ Clement put up a fight at No. 1, but eventually came up short, 3-6, 6-2, 10-4, to Kristoff Saari.
Teal Howard also battled for a win at No. 4, but Andy Stuble was able to hold on and defeat the Monarch, 4-6, 6-3, 10-8.

Methodist will return to home play on Mar. 18 as it hosts Virginia Wesleyan at 3:30 p.m.
