DESTIN, Fla. Methodist's top-ranked men's golf team wrapped up the three-day Golfweek Division III Men's Fall Invite, finishing in second place on Tuesday.
Methodist (292-277-284—853, 1 over par) could not catch up to Emory (287-277-276—840, 12 under) on the final day of the Invite.

ROUND 3 NOTES
- After finishing in a tie for 45th place yesterday, Andre Chi (74-75-66—215, +2) had a day by finishing 5 under and moving up 29 spots for a tie for 16th overall. He finished the front nine by going even par before ending well on the back nine. From holes 14-18, he would shoot five straight birdies.
- Henry Angier (73-64-73—210, -3) tripped up a little and was not able to repeat his card from the day prior. He started off the day with a double bogey at the No. 2 hole and pretty much stayed at 2 over par the rest of the way. Dropping a few spots from 1st to a tie for 4th place.
- Cooper Hrabak (75-66-72—213, E), tied for 8th, had somewhat of an up & down kind of day. He opened up with a birdie before bogeying three of the next five holes. Following the turn, he started the back nine with two bogeys and two birdies. He ended the round with four pars and a birdie to go 1 over par.
- After shooting 3 over par the last two days, Caleb Ryan (74-74-73—221, +8) shaved one stroke off to conclude day three 2 over par. Two bogeys and a birdie saw him 1 over heading into the turn. Hole 13 gave him trouble with a double bogey but going birdie, bogey, par, and birdie on the final four holes put himself in tie for 36th.
- Rounding out the Monarchs is Cameron Cappuzzo (71-73-78—222, +9), who had a tough front nine, finishing in tie for 39th overall. He started well with a birdie at No. 1 before going downhill from there. Two double bogeys and four bogeys put him 6 over the front nine followed by going 1 over on the back nine gave him an 7 over for the round.

Methodist is back in action next week when they play in the O'Briant-Jensen Memorial hosted by Guilford College on Monday and Tuesday.
