ROUND 2 NOTES
- Both Drinkard and Steingrimsen each posted a 69 under three for the round. Drinkard carded four birdies on the front nine before adding two more birdies, along with three bogeys, on the back nine.
- Much like how Steingrimsen started yesterday, she completed the first nine holes three under. This time though she was able to figure out the back nine today, with a couple of birdies and bogeys.
- In her best finish of her freshman campaign, Lucas was able to jump up five spots from yesterday, after shooting a one over 73. Started the day with two bogeys within the first three holes but then go five pars and a birdie before the turn. She would bogey hole No.10 but come back with a birdie three holes later and par the rest.
- Coming in a tie for ninth overall are freshman duo Emily Gresham (76-76—152, +8) and Natalie Brosig (75-77—152, +8). Gresham would go four over par on the front nine, with four bogeys, and then go even on the back with a pair of birdies and bogeys to card a 76 over four for the day.
- Brosig, who played as an individual, ended the round with a five over 77. She was sailing along with seven straight pars before bogeying the final two holes of the first nine. The back nine gave her a little bit of trouble today with a double bogey & three bogeys but did manage to birdie holes 11 & 18.
- Maggie Williams completes the event in a tie for 38th place, after carding an 82 over 10. The front nine saw her make four bogeys to one birdie and at the turn added on six more bogeys and a double bogey to one birdie.
