LEXINGTON, Va. Methodist men's and women's track and field competed Sunday in the Richard Drake Invitational held at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

OTHER TOP PERFORMANCES
- Drew Topoly placed 3rd in the men's one mile run for a time of four minutes and 25.45 seconds.
- Two Monarchs finished in the top 10 for the men's 800 meter run with Topoly placing 3rd for a time of 1:59.45 and Austin Ezzell coming in 6th for a time of 1:59.44.
- The men's 4x400 meter relay team also finished in the top 10, placing 9th for a time of 3:34.49.
- Two Monarchs placed in the top 20, in the men's shot put, with E'Manuel Herbert throwing 11.98m to land in 12th place and Nick Wiggins throwing 10.97m to land in 13th place.
- Isaiah Cuthrell competed in the men's high jump, jumping 1.73m to earn 7th place overall and Keyshaun Pete competed in the men's triple jump, jumping 12.42m to place 13th.
- For the women, Courtney Drumm placed 17th overall in the one-mile for a time of 5:56.37 and Caroline Stubblefield finished one spot shy of top 20 in the women's 3000m for a time of 11:57.97
- Chakalyn Patterson competed in the women's shot put, throwing 9.06m to earn 18th in the finals.
