JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. Day 2 of the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate Invitational is in the books, and Methodist's 3rd-ranked women's golf team slipped to the seventh spot on the team leaderboard, dropping four spots from round one.

Team leaders: 1 – Emory University (289-289—578, +2), 2 – Centre College (299-294-593, +17), 3 – University of Redlands (305-291—596, +20)
Individual leaders: 1 – Rylee Suttor, Centre (Ky.) (68-69-137, -3), 2 – Sarah Hsu,Oglethorpe University (70-70-140, -2), 3 – Sharon Mun, Emory University (69-72—141, E)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Only one team remained in the top spot in the transition from Day 1 to Day 2 of the three-day event.
- Ranked second in the Golfstat poll, Emory carded the best score of the day to maintain the top spot at Jekyll, while Washington and Lee University and Methodist both fell.
- Jillian Drinkard (70-74—144, +2) began Saturday in a tie for the third place individual lead and was able to stay close to the top score.
- Emily Gresham (75-76-151, +4) and Ingrid Steingrimsen (77-74-151, +2) are now tied for 31st place after Gresham dropped seven and Steingrimsen bumped up eleven.
- Maggie Williams (76-78-154, +6) and Natalie Brosig (79-80-159, +8) both fell in the leaderboards.

The Monarchs will finish off the Invitational on Sunday, March 20.
