CLEVELAND, Tenn. On Friday and Saturday,
Drew Topoly,
Richard Staley and
Austin Ezzell took a trip to Cleveland, Tennessee to compete in the Flames Invitational hosted by Lee University.
The cold/snowing weather conditions for this outdoor meet were not ideal for the three runners competing in their respective events.

PERFORMANCE
- In Topoly's lone event on Friday, he finished 46th in the men's 5000 meter run, recording a time of fifteen minutes and 3.26 seconds.
- Austin Ezzell competed in one event on Saturday and finished 67th in the men's 800m run with a time of 1:59.74.
- Richard Staley competed in the men's 200m and 400m events, posting a new personal best, 22.42 seconds in the 200m to land 33rd place and registered a 51.46 second run in the 400m to finish Top 20.
NEXT UP
The men's and women's track and field team will return to Mount Olive, N.C. for the Trojan Relays, hosted by Mount Olive University on April 15 and 16.
