BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. The same squad from Wednesday's meet traveled to Black Mountain, North Carolina today for the outdoor, Last One Best One Meet, hosted by Montreat College.
After a weather delay,
Aaron Nash kicked things off for the Monarchs by competing in his usual event, the men's long jump and landed third place with a 6.86m jump. Although this was not his usual distance, he was still able to secure a spot in the top three.
Later, the track events began and the men's 4x100 meter relay team clocked in at 43.15 seconds to earn second place behind Reinhardt University.
Drew Topoly competed in the men's 3000m steeplechase for his second time this season and shaved off 22 seconds from Wednesday's race to score a first-place finish with a time of nine minutes and 40.13 seconds.
Austin Ezzell competed in the men's 800m run and earned third place overall after registering a time of 1:57.88.

Methodist will send a select group to compete at the UMO Multis Meet in Mount Olive, N.C on Thursday and Friday, May 12-13 for two all-day events.
