MEDFORD, Mass.  On Saturday afternoon, Drew Topoly represented Methodist at the National Qualifying Event being held at Tufts University.

PERFORMANCE

• Topoly ran in the men's 3,000-meter race and came in sixth place with a time of eight minutes, 29.86 seconds.
• Last season he ran this same event in 8:35.43, shaving off almost six seconds off in a year span.

Topoly now waits to see if he qualifies for the upcoming NCAA Indoor Championships.
