GREENSBORO, N.C. Posting the best second-round team score of the 10-team field, the Methodist men's golf 'B' team secured a second-place finish at the Pfeiffer Falcon Shootout on Tuesday. The Monarchs finished just two strokes shy of Sandhills Community College.

THE 'ROUND' UP
- After scoring two strokes over par on the first day of the tournament, Caleb Ryan shot a round-best three-under par on Tuesday, bringing his total score to -1, which placed him in a tie for second overall.
- Like Ryan, Peter Malia sank five birdies in round two. He also dropped in five bogeys, giving him a score of even par on the round to combine with his first-round score of six-over par. He finished the event in 11th on the leaderboard.
- With a clean first round, Charlie Campbell posted a one-under par on Monday. He followed it up with a four-over par on Tuesday, giving him a +3 for the tournament (tied for eighth overall).
- In 10th overall for the tournament with a +5, Beau Brewer carded a one-over par in the first round and a second-round score of four-over par.
- Rounding out the Monarchs, Haden Ruby scored six strokes over par on Monday before improving his performance on Tuesday with a three-over par.

This is the final event scheduled for the Methodist 'B' team during the Spring of 2024. The varsity men's golf team will next compete at the Shoals Intercollegiate April 14-16.
