ROME, Ga.  Two members of the Methodist football team have been named to the 2025 USA South All-Conference Team, which the league announced on Wednesday afternoon. Sophomore Semaj Miller was voted to the Second Team as an offensive lineman, while junior linebacker Anthony Smith garnered Honorable Mention status. Additionally, representing the Monarchs on the All-Sportsmanship squad was senior defensive end Jonathan Adams.
 
Miller was a bright spot on the Methodist offensive line, helping block for an offense that produced 223 yards of total offense per game and 20 touchdowns on the season. Miller was one of just 13 Monarchs to appear in all 10 games this season, and one of only two offensive linemen to play in every contest.
 
Smith led the team in total tackles, recording a career-best 52, which ranked 13th out of all defensive players in the conference. He contributed 31 solo stops along with 21 assisted takedowns, which included 1.5 tackles for a loss. The linebacker also tallied two quarterback hurries on the season. Smith also appeared in every game for Methodist this season, helping command a defense that recorded 18 takeaways across 10 contests.
 
This is the first All-Conference recognition of both Miller and Smith's collegiate careers.
