GREENWOOD, Ind.  The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its Academic All-District Women's Tennis Teams on Tuesday. Methodist had four of its student–athletes earn a spot on the NCAA Division III list: sophomores Emma Hulicki, Katie Sechrist, Annabelle Subirats, and Caitlin Tihanovich.

Hulicki, who was recognized as a First Team All-Conference selection for the second consecutive season, was the Monarchs' main No. 1 singles player. She went 7-9 at the top spot in dual action, including a 4-2 record against USA South foes. She also primarily played in No. 1 doubles, compiling a 9-7 dual record and a 4-3 league record.

Sechrist competed in the No. 4 spot for singles, where she racked up a 6-10 dual record, 3-4 in conference play. In doubles action, mainly at the No. 2 position, Sechrist and her partner went 8-9 in duals, while registering a 3-4 record against USA South opponents.

Subirats, who garnered Second Team All-Conference laurels, was the Monarchs' No. 2 singles player for the majority of the spring, as she played all but one of her flights at that position, going 8-8 in duals and 5-2 in conference. Like Hulicki, Subirats also compiled a 9-7 dual record, at the No. 2 spot for the most part, and had a 4-3 league record in doubles.

Tihanovich saw most of her singles action at the No. 3 spot, where she registered a 6-9 record in duals, 3-4 versus oppositions in the conference. She fared better in doubles action, recording an 8-9 mark in duals, mainly at the No. 1 position, including a 3-4 record in conference play.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
