GREENWOOD, Ind. The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its Academic All-District Men's Tennis Teams on Tuesday. Securing a spot on the NCAA Division III list were Methodist sophomores
Harry Crokam and
Decklan Rayner.
Crokam, who was recognized as a Second Team All-Conference selection in back-to-back seasons, primarily played as the Monarchs' No. 2 man in singles, compiling a 12-8 record in duals while going 4-2 in league matches. In doubles, he competed at all three positions and registered a 10-10 record in duals, with a 4-2 mark versus conference foes.
Rayner saw the majority of his playing time in just doubles play, but he did compete in some singles matches. All of his single victories came at the No. 6 spot as he totaled a 3-2 dual record. He had a very successful season in doubles, as he was tied for the team lead with 14 dual wins to just three losses. Splitting time at the No. 1 & 2 spots, Rayner and his doubles partner only dropped one league flight (5-1), with the loss coming against the second-best doubles team in the South Region, at the time.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
