FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.  Methodist University head men's soccer coach Justin Terranova announced the Monarchs' 2026 schedule on Tuesday. The slate features 10 non-conference matches, including contests against two NCAA Division II opponents, along with a seven-match USA South Athletic Conference schedule.
 
The 2026 season begins on Tuesday, Sept. 1, with a 7 PM road contest at NCAA Division II Barton College. The Monarchs then return home for back-to-back matches during opening weekend, hosting Shenandoah University on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 2 PM, before welcoming NCAA Division II Shaw University on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 5:30 PM.
 
Methodist heads back on the road the following week, beginning with a 6 PM match at Guilford College on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The Monarchs then travel to Maryland for a pair of contests at Notre Dame of Maryland's campus, facing the host Gators on Sept. 12 at 1 PM before taking on McDaniel College on Sept. 13 at 3 PM.
 
After a 13-day stretch away from Duggins Soccer Stadium, Methodist returns home to host Piedmont University on Sept. 19 at 4 PM. The Monarchs remain in Fayetteville three days later, welcoming Regent University for a 6 p.m. non-conference matchup on Sept. 22.
 
USA South play opens on Saturday, Sept. 26, as Methodist travels to Southern Virginia University for a noon kickoff. The Monarchs close out September with another trip to Virginia, facing Averett University on Sept. 30 at 6 PM.
 
Conference action resumes on Saturday, Oct. 3, when Methodist hosts Mary Baldwin University at noon before embarking on a two-match road swing. The Monarchs visit North Carolina Wesleyan University on Oct. 7 at 4 PM, followed by a 1 PM contest at Pfeiffer University on Oct. 10.
 
Methodist closes the home portion of its schedule with three consecutive matches, beginning with Brevard College on Oct. 17 during Homecoming at 4 PM. The Monarchs then welcome perennial national contender Christopher Newport University for their final non-conference match on Oct. 20 at 6 PM, before hosting William Peace University in the regular-season home finale on Oct. 24 at 7 PM.
 
The regular season concludes on the road against Greensboro College on Wednesday, Oct. 28, with kickoff set for 4 PM.
 
The 2026 USA South Men's Soccer Tournament will begin with the First Round on Saturday, Oct. 31, followed by the semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 4, and the finals on Saturday, Nov. 7.
