NORMAN, Okla. The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award recipients on Wednesday, with Methodist University men's golf program earning recognition for the second consecutive season.
A GCAA-record 331 programs across six divisions received the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award, which recognizes teams that achieve a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the academic year. Additionally, 155 programs earned the President's Special Recognition for posting an outstanding team GPA of 3.5 or higher.
