LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The Methodist cross country team traveled south to compete at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic this weekend.
The men competed in the 8K race finishing 22nd as a team. Freshman
Aaron Holmes led the team finishing in 31:25.90. Sophomore
Nick Sauls ran the race in 31:46.50 and freshman
Lloyd Bronner came in at 34:16.10. Sophomore
Thomas Brickhouse ran a personal best 34:29.10. Senior
Keon Hannibal finished in 35:41.70 and freshman
Derek McGill ran the race in 39:51.60.
On the women's side, sophomore
Katie Ballard finished the 5K in 23:12.90 and freshman
Morgan Artis ran the race in 24:25.20. Junior Katelynn Jarrell came in at 27:42.10.
The Monarchs will take the next couple of weeks to prepare for the USA South Championships Oct. 31.
