ROUND 2
  • Entering the day tied for the individual lead, Chase Walts had another strong outing, finishing the day two strokes under par. The senior was once against consistent, only finishing over par on one hole (a bogey on 16). He logged birdies on Holes 7, 9 and 11.
  • Aiden Spampinato matched his score from yesterday, again shooting even par. Two birdies and a bogey placed him one stroke under par at the turn, but a double bogey on the 11th hole set him back. He bounced back with birdies on 15 and 17 before dropping a final bogey on the 18th green.
  • Haden Ruby played a solid round overall, checking in at one stroke under par after the front nine. With three birdies and two bogeys on the back half, he sat two strokes under par entering the final hole. A quadruple bogey flipped his day upside down, giving him a +2 for the round.
  • Beau Brewer and Jonny Lewis ended the round with matching scores for the second day in a row. Both golfers began the day with back–to–back bogeys, but Brewer was quick to erase his, sinking birdies on Holes 5 and 9. Lewis waited until the back half, birdying 11 and 12 to draw even. Brewer carded two bogeys during the second half of his day to finish two strokes over par, while Lewis logged a double bogey on the final hole to drop to +2.
