Round 2 Cut Short on Day 2 of Jekyll

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga.  With the action suspended early on Saturday, members of the Methodist men's golf team have only played 11 to 13 holes of the second round. The round will restart at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday with the third and final round to follow immediately.

SECOND ROUND
  • Cooper Hrabak put forth the top effort for Methodist on day two, posting two-under par through 11 holes. He birdied his first hole of the day (Hole 10) and his seventh (Hole 16).
  • At even through 11 holes, Cameron Cappuzzo sits tied for second best among the Monarchs on Saturday. The senior carded four birdies, but they were all canceled by a quadruple bogey on his fifth hole of the day (Hole 14). He's still the top Methodist golfer on the individual leaderboard as of now, holding a +1 score that's good enough for T13.
  • Also at even for the second round so far, David D'Agostino bogeyed two of his first three holes but has since bounced back with two birdies.
  • An up and down round for Aiden Spampinato so far has him at +1 through 12 holes, while a tough showing for Chase Walts puts his at +5 through 11 holes.

Methodist will finish round two and play round 3 of the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational on Sunday beginning at 7:45 a.m.
