GREENSBORO, N.C. The Methodist men's and women's cross country teams spent Saturday afternoon running in the 40th Annual Greensboro XC Invitational. Both sides participated in a 5 kilometer race.

MONARCH WOMEN
- Methodist's fastest finisher on the women's side was freshman Emma Wilson, who crossed the line in 16th with a time of 25:17.10. Next was Treazure Rosario Watson (28:39.32) in 26th place.
- Sophomores Niya Johnson (29:08.16) and Imani Kee (30:23.69) took 30th and 33rd, while Sedajah Law recorded a time of 30:04.63 in her first race of the season. Also racing for the first time this season, Kayla Mitchell (32:57.37) finished 39th, in stride with Alyssa Cervantes (32:57.38) who took 40th. Nadia Covin was the final Monarch to finish, recording a time of 36:56.78.
