WILLIAMSBURG, Va. The Methodist women's golf team concluded its time at the Historic Triangle Invitational with a second–round score of 38 over par, improving upon its first round by nine strokes. The Monarchs ended the tournament in 13th place on the team leaderboard.

FINAL ROUND
- Jenna Rutledge and Paige Wilkinson each shot eight strokes over par on Tuesday. Rutledge tied for the team lead with 11 holes of par or better, while Wilkinson was one of two Monarchs to record multiple birdies on the round. They finished +18 and +19 for the tournament, respectively.
- Starting on hole 17, Cloe Rich began her day with back–to–back bogeys. She performed well on the front nine, shooting just three strokes over par across the nine–hole stretch. After making the turn, she accumulated five more bogeys to end the round at +10 with a score of +25 for the tournament.
- Eva Denten's two–round total of +23 was third–best for Methodist following her +12 on Tuesday. Denten was just seven strokes over par with three holes to go before stumbling on Hole 12 to add five additional strokes over par to her total. In clutch fashion, she birdied her final hole on the day.
- Anna Wicklum also birdied her final hole of the day, finishing strong on a round in which she shot +17. She finished the two rounds with a score of +32.
- Competing as an individual, Megan Kestner met par on 11 holes but had four trouble holes that brought her score down to +13 on Tuesday. Her solid first round still helped her to a +20 total for the tournament.

The women's varsity team is done with competition until the spring, while the Monarchs will field a "B" team in the Chick–Fil–A Women's Invitational in Rome, Georgia on Monday, Oct. 27 and Tuesday, Oct. 28
