SAVANNAH, Ga. Entering the final round with a two–stroke lead over Washington and Lee University, the No. 2–ranked Methodist men's golf team remained neck and neck with the No. 1–ranked Generals all throughout Tuesday. Sitting at –9 heading into Hole 18, the Monarchs added one stroke relative to par to their total, finishing the Savannah Invitational at –8. Simultaneously, the Generals entered their final hole at –6, but improved to –9 after three players carded birdies, surpassing Methodist for the top spot on the leaderboard.

FINAL ROUND
- Chase Walts put together his best round of the match, sinking four birdies with no blemishes. He carded a 34 on the front nine and a 34 on the back half, moving up 17 spots on the leaderboard to take second place (–5).
- With six birdies on the day, Aiden Spampinato finished the round at even par. He matched Walts' 34 at the turn but stumbled down the stretch with bogeys on 14 and 15 and a double bogey on 17. His three–round total of –1 earned him an 11th–place finish.
- Beau Brewer had the best front nine for the Monarchs on Tuesday, carding a clean 33 with three birdies. He shot four–over par on the back nine, pulling him down to one–over par on the day and a +5 overall.
- Haden Ruby and Caleb Ryan both finished the round at three strokes over par. Ruby bogeyed three of his first four holes, then recorded three birdies midway through the round before carding three more bogeys. Ryan's round was weighed down by back–to–back double bogeys on 12 and 13. Ruby finished the tournament tied for 12th at even par, while Ryan finished T17 at one stroke over par.
