FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. The Methodist University men's lacrosse program has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a 15-game slate highlighted by a competitive blend of non-conference matchups and USA South Athletic Conference play.
The Monarchs open the season at home on Saturday, February 7, hosting Berry College at 1 PM in what promises to be an exciting kickoff to the spring campaign.
Following the home opener, Methodist hits the road for a pair of games, traveling to Guilford College for a 7 PM night game on Wednesday, February 11, before heading to Arlington, Virginia, to face Marymount University on Saturday, February 14, at 11 AM.
The early portion of the schedule includes a trip to Virginia Beach to face Virginia Wesleyan University at 3 PM on Saturday, February 21, followed by a return to Fayetteville on Friday, February 27, when the Monarchs host Southwestern University in a 5 PM evening matchup.
March begins with a midweek road contest at Averett University on Wednesday, March 4, with a 6 PM start, before Methodist opens USA South play at Brevard College on Saturday, March 7, at 4 PM. The Monarchs then close out non-conference action at home on Wednesday, March 11, hosting Bethany College (W.Va.) at 1 PM.
Conference play continues on Saturday, March 14, as Methodist hosts Piedmont University for a 1 PM start, followed by a midweek road matchup at William Peace University on Wednesday, March 18, set for a 6 PM.
The Monarchs return home on Saturday, March 21, to host LaGrange College at 3 PM, then face Pfeiffer University on Wednesday, March 25, with a start time of 6 PM.
April play begins with a road contest at Huntingdon College on Saturday, April 4, at 2 PM, followed by a trip to Greensboro College on Saturday, April 11, with a noon start. The regular-season home schedule concludes on Saturday, April 18, with a 1 PM matchup against Southern Virginia University at Monarch Stadium.
The postseason gets underway with the USA South Men's Lacrosse Tournament, beginning with first-round action on Saturday, April 25, followed by semifinals on Thursday, April 30, and the championship game on Saturday, May 2.
