FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. The Methodist men's lacrosse team delivered a dominant offensive performance Saturday afternoon, overwhelming LaGrange College, 28–4, in USA South action inside Monarch Stadium.
After the contest, Methodist honored its 2026 senior class:

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Methodist wasted no time asserting control, erupting for nine goals in the opening quarter while holding LaGrange off the scoreboard. The Monarchs spread the offense around early, with multiple players contributing during the initial surge to build a commanding lead.
- The offensive momentum continued into the second quarter, as Methodist added seven more goals. LaGrange managed to find the back of the cage twice in the period, but the Monarchs' pace and efficiency allowed them to carry a 16–2 advantage into halftime.
- Coming out of the break, Methodist stayed aggressive, tallying six goals in the third quarter while continuing to limit LaGrange's scoring opportunities. The Monarch defense remained disciplined, forcing turnovers and controlling possession.
- In the final period, the Monarchs capped off the performance with six additional goals, cruising to the 28–4 victory.
