ROME, Ga.  The USA South Athletic Conference released its final Golf Athletes of the Week honors for the 2025–26 season on Wednesday afternoon. Methodist University was well represented as senior Beau Brewer was named Men's Co-Golfer of the Week and junior Todd Moyer earned Men's Golf Rookie of the Week honors.
 
Brewer captured Golfer of the Week recognition for the second consecutive week following strong performances at both the Capital City Classic and the Sam Snead Collegiate.
 
At the Capital City Classic two weeks ago, Brewer finished tied for eighth place out of 95 golfers with a three-round total of 217 (+1). He opened the tournament with a one-over 73, followed with a one-under 71, before closing with another one-over 73.
 
Brewer followed that performance with an even stronger showing at the Sam Snead Collegiate last week, placing tied for third out of 108 golfers with a score of 212 (-1). He opened the event with an even-par 71, shot a one-over 72 in the second round, and finished the tournament with a two-under 69 in the final round.
 
Moyer collected his second Rookie of the Week honor of the season after also competing in both the Capital City Classic and the Sam Snead Collegiate.
 
At the Capital City Classic, Moyer finished tied for 21st with a three-round total of 220 (+4). He began the tournament with a two-under 70, followed with a one-over 73, before finishing with a five-over 77.
 
Moyer continued his solid play at the Sam Snead Collegiate, placing tied for 10th with a total score of 218 (+5). His rounds consisted of a four-over 75, a two-over 73, and a one-under 70 to close the event.
