FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Methodist's Vice President and Director of Athletics Dave Eavenson has announced the promotion of Michael Spratt to Sports Information Director.
 
Spratt was originally hired as the Assistant Sports Information Director back in August of 2021. He arrives at Methodist after spending the 2019-2020 academic year in the same position at Division II Newberry College. While at Newberry, Spratt was the primary contact for six of the 22 sports. 

Before Newberry he spent five years at Western New England University, four as a student assistant and one as a postgraduate intern, from 2013-2018. As a student assistant his primary work was assisting with the stats of all home athletic events. While as an intern, Spratt was the primary statistician for football and men's & women's basketball. He also was in charge of pre and post game graphics of all sports.  

A native of Blackstone, Massachusetts, Spratt graduated from WNE in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Sport Management. He currently lives in Fayetteville.
