DAY 2 NOTES
- Methodist opened the round on the first tee as Lewis carded back-to-back birdies. He countered on the front nine with two bogeys for an even par going into the back nine. Two back-to-back birdies, a bogey and two more back-to-back birdies set him under par by three strokes for the day, giving him a run for the top five on the leaderboards.
- Next in line was Beau Brewer (70-70-74-214,+1) , who had a solid performance in during his first two rounds of play, but slipped up to drop eight spots to a tie for 12th place. His three birdies were not enough to make up for the six bogeys, which bumped his score from two-under to one-over.
- Cameron Cappuzzo (72-72-73-217, +4), like Brewer, started the day with a bogey, but finished the front nine with an even par after carding a birdie on hole No. 7. Cappuzzo finished the day with a two-over par 73 for an 18th place tie.
- Will Campbell (69-72-78-219, +6) did not have his usual day on the golf course as he carded his highest score of the tournament with a seven-over 78. Hole No. 9 gave him some trouble as he shot a double bogey before making the turn, his only double bogey over the two days. From there it was hard to come back as he shot five bogeys before finishing the 18.
- Unlike Campbell, Chase Walts (81-73-72-226, +13) had his best day on the course, shooting a one-over par 72 in the final round to bump up 15 places. Unfortunately, after having a shaky first round, he was only able to land a 55th place tie on the leaderboards.
