PINEHURST, N.C.  Day 2 of the Tiger Invitational will not be played due to weather, announced Sunday morning. No. 2 ranked Methodist men's golf team are the winners of the event after holding a one-stroke lead over Guilford College at the end of the first round.

The Monarchs shot a 12-over 300 while the Quakers posted a 13-over 301. Coming in third was Babson College (Mass.) with a 15-over 303.

Methodist will be back in action on Friday when the team plays in the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate Invitational from March 17-19.
